Google Community Posts: You will post questions/responses/reflections on course content to our Google Community page (see the schedule for due dates). These informal posts should demonstrate you've done the reading and have carefully considered how this class relates to what you see in the world (shoot for 150-200 words). Relating the reading and in-class discussions to a piece of business communication you've seen (a commercial, tweet from a company, etc.) is a fantastic approach. You're also encouraged to think/write about how this class intersects with other classes and the writing you produce for them. I'll always provide you with a set of guiding questions you can use as a starting place, but feel free to take your post in any direction you see fit. While not required, it's strongly encouraged you comment on classmate's posts as it shows you're invested in the class and care what others have to say.10% |100 points
Project Reflections (4 total): Each project will conclude with a 1-2 page, single-spaced, informal reflection about your learning experience mediated through your work on the project and what we've read and discussed for class. This is your chance to make connections between what you've produced and what you're learning in the course. Guiding sets of questions specific to each project and more details will be distributed at the start of each project.
10% | 100 points (25 points each)
Due: September 15, October 15, November 19, and December 11.

Performance and Professionalism: Your performance in this course is dependent on more than simply showing up for class-- verbal participation, digital participation (reading responses and comments for peers), mental presence, and individual work all count towards this portion of your grade. Arriving to class on time and prepared to engage with discussions and activities in a way that demonstrates you've carefully read and considered the assignment is expected.
